Roger Emerson, always the teacher as well as the inspiration, told me about ArrangeMe, a Hal Leonard company that allows you to create, publish and sell your own arrangements of songs easily and, best of all, legally.
As a huge Queen fan, I am aware of zillions of their songs that most people aren't aware of -- the deep cuts that are outshined by the huge singles. This is my first arrangement of one of these songs, and I plan on making more.
"All Dead, All Dead" is one of those Queen songs you'll be surprised that you never knew existed. From their renowned 1977 album News of the World -- and understandably eclipsed by the stadium hits "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" -- this song is a eulogy for guitarist Brian May's childhood cat. Playful, haunting, and above all, relatable to anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet, this arrangement will make a fitting addition to your next Halloween or Dia de los Muertos performance.
