Watch It Snow

I originally wanted to call this "Let It Snow," but that title was already taken.
This is another piece that came out of experiences during the pandemic. I'm a teacher, and as we returned to in-person instruction, it was clear almost immediately that all of the time the students had spent away from each other seemed to have had negative effects on some of their interpersonal relationships and coping mechanisms in general. Our students certainly endured a lot during that time, and the added stress of being socially "out of practice", for some, was another unfortunate obstacle towards a return to normalcy.
So I wrote this piece as a song of encouragement for my students, the idea being that it's ok to feel sad and frustrated, and that we don't always have to fix everything all at once. In fact, sometimes we just have to admit that certain things are completely beyond our control, and that's ok too.
