He Knows the River Well

Another first -- the first time I ever arranged someone else's music for choir (with help from the amazing Roger Emerson).
Steve Bernstein wrote and recorded this song with his band some years ago, and I was approached about arranging it for choir. I thought it was a really great tune and I was happy for the challenge. It turned out great, and best of all, I got to know Mr. Bernstein -- also a music teacher! -- and have had the opportunity to collaborate with him a few times since then (including on an upcoming publication... stay tuned!).
